    We will all be joining in with Joe Wicks' workout at 9 am on his YouTube channel The Body Coach TV. Make sure you are ready to go by 8:55. You can also choose a daily exercise and should continue to log your workout routine at the back of your Purple book.

    Technology

    This is the second lesson of your TEAM GB project. Complete work in your workbooks and on a computer. You will need to research and analyse a range of sportswear items that will help inspire your own design ideas.

    Spanish or French or Skyline

    Spanish: Following on from last lesson’s work on the verb comer, learn 5 new ER verbs and practise verb conjugation.

     

    French: ‘Les poissons d’avril’ Learn the poem and design your own ‘April fish’ for April fool’s

     Day.

    Today you will rehearse and perform your monologue that you have been working on during lesson one and two. We would love to see some of your performances by sending them via Twitter or the email found on the PowerPoint. We love seeing your creativity! Bonus points for believability.

    Science

    Atoms elements and compounds. Please go to your teacher's folder and start the next lesson in the sequence. Complete all work in your exercise book. Follow the

    instructions within the PowerPoint. If you missed the previous lesson and would like to catch up, you will find it in your teacher folder under ‘Previous Lessons’.

    Today is a Hegarty Maths lesson, log onto your account and complete the tasks that have been set by your teacher. Please ensure you write down all the notes and examples from the video and then complete the quiz aiming for 100%.

    Today you will learn about minimalist music and how this has been used by many different artists. You will then focus on the composter Hans Zimmer and see how he applies this to film scores to create effect.

    Weaving lesson 2. You will be completing the second lesson of the weaving task. Complete all written work in your work books. You will need to complete one or more of the challenge tasks.

    Happy Holidays! The MEAC Social and Cultural Capital Activity Handbook

    This Easter break is the perfect time to develop your social and cultural capital.

    We have put together a handbook with lots of projects and activities which will help you to learn more about the world around you, complementing our SCC curriculum. 

    Turn to your favourite subject and get started! Don't worry if you don't get lots done over the holidays - there will be a special 'Project Hour' on your online timetable in the summer term to provide time for you to work through the handbook and broaden your horizons.
