At Key Stage 4 some students complete the ASDAN personal development programme which aims to develop and recognise a range of skills to allow them to prepare for adulthood, continue on to further education or work and to live confident, independent lives. We want our students to be independent citizens who can ‘meet every citizen as an equal’ and have the knowledge and expertise that they need to do so.

The skills that are assessed throughout the programme are Teamwork, Learning, Coping with problems, Use of Maths, Use of English, and Use of ICT. The ASDAN programme is personalised to each student and can be certified in three distinct levels: Bronze, Silver, and Gold.
