On Friday the 13th of October MEA Central celebrated Black History Month.
Black History Month celebrates and remembers important people and events in
the history of the African diaspora. MEA Central held a Black History Month event
after school and invited all students, staff, parents, and people from the
community. The theatre was packed out with visitors. Students and staff
displayed their own clothes in a fashion show, students read poems and sang
before the staff dance off! It really was great event where the whole school
community came together to take part.
