Apply Now for a 2023 Start

Applications for secondary schools in Manchester, including MEA Central, are handled by Manchester City Council and completed online.

Please see the council’s Secondary School Admissions website for more information and to complete an application.

• The application round for Secondary 2023 opens 3rd July 2023.  

• The closing date for Secondary 2023 school applications is 5pm on 31st October 2023.

YEAR 7 SEPTEMBER INTAKE 2024 - ONLINE ADMISSIONS PROCEDURE

MEA Central are proud to work with Applicaa who support our online admissions processes for students entering into Year 7 in 2024 and students in other year groups who are in-year admissions.

IN YEAR ADMISSIONS PROCEDURE

MEA Central use Manchester City Council for all school admissions, they can be contacted either by the following link or by telephone

You will need to complete an in-year application form, available from Manchester City Council or from the school office.  This then needs to be submitted either by post or in person to Manchester City Council.

Your application will be processed and your child’s name will be added to our waiting list. 

If a place becomes available you will be contacted by school to arrange an admission appointment, and you and your child will meet our Pastoral Manager to complete your admission forms. You will then be given a start date for your child.
