Apply Now for a 2021 Start
Applications for secondary schools in Manchester, including MEA Central, are handled by Manchester City Council and completed online.
Please see the council’s Secondary School Admissions website for more information and to complete an application. The deadline to apply for places in September 2021 is Monday 2nd November 2020.
Please note that in the 2020/21 school year, MEA Central will only be open to Year 7, 8, 9 and 10 students.
IN YEAR ADMISSIONS PROCEDURE
MEA Central use Manchester City Council for all school admissions, they can be contacted either by the following link:
or by telephone on 0161 245 7166.
You will need to complete an in-year application form, available from Manchester City Council or from the school office. This then needs to be submitted either by post or in person to Manchester City Council.
Your application will be processed and your child’s name will be added to our waiting list. If a place becomes available you will be contacted by school to arrange an admission appointment, and you and your child will meet our Pastoral Manager to complete your admission forms. You will then be given a start date for your child.
